The 2nd Water Management Award ceremony was held simultaneously with the 6th Water Loss and Leaks Forum and Exhibition, which took place at the Lütfü Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center on 2-3 November. Halıcı Group was awarded at the ceremony where successful projects and innovative products in water management were rewarded. Halıcı Group's CEO, Dr. Hüseyin Halıcı took it. WASTE OF 4.7 MILLION CUBIC METERS OF WATER WAS PREVENTED. 90 percent of the project implemented in various districts of the Anatolian side of Istanbul has been completed so far. With the project, water leaks were prevented and waste of water resources was prevented. At the same time, with the studies carried out, the water sufficiency level in the city was increased, the quality was increased and unit costs were reduced. Public health was also served by controlling the pressure in the applied systems and preventing waste water leakage from cracks. With the project, the efficiency of the city network system was increased and the installation of more than necessary network and transmission lines in the city was prevented. During the project, 648 malfunctions were detected and 4.7 million cubic meters of water wasted was prevented. The value of water saved for 1 year was 47 million TL.
